Training and Accreditation

I have worked in mental health services for 20 years joining Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in 2003. In 2009 I began my training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, University of Oxford. I completed my initial training and became accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies in 2012. I have subsequently completed an MSc and DPhil (Doctorate) in CBT at the University of Oxford finishing my studies in 2021.

Clinical Experience

Since 2012, I have provided both private and NHS CBT psychotherapy working in a variety of settings, most recently I have joined Professor Paul Salkovskis’ team at Oxford Health Specialist Psychological Intervention Centre and Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.

Specialist Expertise

In addition to working in specialist NHS treatment centres and helping many people struggling with depression and anxiety disorders, I have recently joined a small number of clinical experts pioneering CBT treatment for misophonia including Dr Tom Graham, and lead by Dr Jane Gregory.

Teaching & Supervision

I have provided teaching and supervision to Postgraduate students and professionals for over 10 years, as well as delivering workshops and training to CBT therapists both in the UK and internationally. I am currently the Course Lead for the Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Studies Course, Deputy Lead for Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision and Training and course tutor and lead supervisor on the Postgraduate Diploma in CBT at Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.
