Dr. Dan White BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the gold standard for CBT in the UK. I specialise in delivering evidence-based therapy for adults struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and misophonia.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focused on providing you with practical skills to overcome challenges and improve your well-being. I am dedicated to helping you understand the patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be holding you back, and working with you to build lasting change.
My Professional Experience
In addition to my private practice, I hold two key roles in leading Oxford institutions which keep me at the cutting edge of CBT practice and research:
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist within the NHS at the Oxford Health Specialist Psychological Intervention Centre. This role involves providing specialised therapy for complex and difficult-to-treat conditions.
I am also a Course Lead and Supervisor at the renowned Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC), where I am involved in training and supervising the next generation of CBT therapists.
These roles ensure that my private practice is informed by the very latest evidence and highest standards of care. My commitment is to bring this specialist-level expertise to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
